Maria Loukas joined the Dwyer Durack team in September 2010 after being admitted in August of the same year.

Maria graduated from Notre Dame University with a Bachelors of Law and Bachelors of Arts and was the recipient of the Jackson McDonald Prize in Law for the best final year student in 2008 – a prestigious award presented to students with outstanding achievements in all areas of law studied.

Prior to Dwyer Durack she enjoyed a diverse range of employment and volunteering experience in places such as Mental Health Law Centre, Mediation and Legal Services of the Department of King Edward and Princess Margaret Hospital and Legal Aid.

Maria has a particular interest in Family Law property settlement cases within both a domestic and International jurisdiction, Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution
