Veronica Biskupovic joined the Family Law department on 23 August 2004. She completed her law degree as a mature student at UWA in December 2000. In June 2001 she was admitted at the ACT Supreme Court and the High Court, and in September 2001 at the WA Supreme Court.
Veronica's first degree is in teaching, which she completed in Chile. She arrived in Australia in 1987 and 10 years later, after learning English and performing various jobs, she enrolled at UWA to study law. While studying law, Veronica did clerical work on a voluntary basis at the Northern Suburbs Community Legal Centre. Between January and June 2001, Veronica completed the Legal Workshop at the Australian National University in Canberra.
Back from Canberra, Veronica worked on a voluntary basis and then as a Restrictive Practitioner at the Attadale office of Gibson Tovey Mills, where she was involved in civil and family law matters. This office closed down in June 2002 and Veronica commenced working for Fran Brennan at FM Brennan and Associates in September 2002, where she completed her Restricted Practice in July 2003.
Veronica was made a Senior Associate in December 2007
Veronica's main interest is in family law but she has enjoyed the brief work she has performed in other areas.
